Staying in Crieff
Crieff is a former spa town at the foot of the Knock of Crieff, with the Glenturret Distillery, one of Scotland's oldest whisky distilleries, among its attractions, and the Crieff Highland Gathering held in August. The surrounding landscape offers walks, the Sma' Glen and Loch Turret for hikers, and the Knock of Crieff gives panoramic views over Strathearn. The town itself has shops, restaurants and cafes, and the A85 puts Perth, Stirling and the southern Highlands within reach.

The Church Tower, The Lookout at St Ninians, Honeybrook Crieff, Knock Castle Hotel & Spa, Crieff Hydro, Merlindale, James Cottage and Newstead Bed And Breakfast sit in or just off the centre, within walking distance of the High Street and the River Earn. Blairmore Farm and Westacre Bed & Breakfast lie out towards Fowlis Wester, while Coorie Inn Restaurant and Rooms and Greenbrae Holiday Cottage are in Muthill.
